On July 10th, 2018, SIP Lvse Jiangnan Public Environment Concerned Centre (hereinafter referred to as “PECC”) found that there was an outlet discharging water in the river on the east side of Suzhou Baodali Leather Co., Ltd. at No. 9 Zhujiawan Road. Since it did not rain that day, the possibility of rainwater discharge was ruled out.

The discharged water is light white, and a small amount of white floc is enriched in the water. Groups of small fish gather around the drainage outlet to compete for the floc, and a small amount of foam is generated, and some white substances gather at the bottom of the drainage outlet. The geographic location and pollution situation of specific polluted areas are shown in the figures below.

On July 16th, 2018, researchers from PECC came to Suzhou Baodali Leather Co., Ltd. again and found that the drainage outlet in the river was continuously draining, which was significantly higher than that on July 10th. On July 16th, it was also a sunny day, so we can exclude the possibility of rainwater discharge.
