On March 2nd, 2018, SIP Lvse Jiangnan Public Environment Concerned Centre (hereinafter referred to as “PECC”) received a report from a resident of Jinhu County, Huai’an City, reflecting that the smoke coming from the furnace of Longdu Bathhouse in Jinhu County, Huai’an City, smelled pungent and had been polluting for more than a year.

After receiving the report, PECC immediately reported the pollution of the Longdu Club in Jinhu County, Huai’an City to the Environmental Protection Bureau of Jinhu County.

On March 7th, 2018, Jinhu Environmental Protection Bureau issued a “Prior (Hearing) Notice of Administrative Penalty to Longdu Bathhouse” (Jinhuan Penalty Notice [2018] No. 3).

On March 14th, 2018, PECC received a document reply from the Jinhu County Environmental Protection Bureau. The specific reply and the prior (hearing) notice of administrative penalty are shown in the figures below. According to the follow-up feedback from the whistleblower, the pollution problem has been resolved.
